RPL Certificate IV in OH&S Training
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) / Recognition of Current Competencies (RCC) for Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety is offered based on the personal summation of the students knowledge so that full RPL for learning can be granted.
In this instance the student will be required to successfully complete a full cumulative assessment.
No learning resources will be provided.
CORE UNITS
BSBOHS401B - Contribute to the implementation of a systematic approach to managing OHS
BSBOHS402B - Contribute to the implementation of the OHS consultation process
BSBOHS403B - Identify hazards and assess OHS risks
BSBOHS404B - Contribute to the implementation of strategies to control OHS risk
BSBOHS405B - Contribute to the implementation of emergency procedures
BSBOHS408A - Assist with compliance with OHS and other relevant laws
ELECTIVE UNITS
BSBOHS407A - Monitor a safe workplace
BSBOHS301B - Apply knowledge of OHS legislation in the workplace
BSBOHS508B - Participate in the investigation of incidents
Good literacy & computer skills would be an advantage and a comprehensive understanding of :
• OH&S Legislation
• Hazard ID, Risk Assessment and Control
• Implementation of an OHSMS
• Implementation of Emergency Procedures
• Report Writing
