Course Objective:

• To provide participants with the skills and knowledge to undertake Truck Mounted crane operations under 10-metre tonne capacity (Duty of Care). 

Unit of Competency:

• TLID0012  - Operate a vehicle-mounted loading crane

Course Content:

• Prepare work for current working conditions 
• Position and stablise vehicle-mounted 
• Operate vehicle-mounted crane
• Monitor lift conditions
• Pack up vehicle-mounted crane
• Complete job records

Assessment:

• Theory Assessment
• Practical Assessment

Course Award:

• Statement of Attainment

Course Prerequisites:

• Photographic identification is required to attend this course
• 18 years of age or over to operate
• Ability to use and understand basic English

• Personal Protective Equipment to be worn e.g. Hard hat, safety footwear, high visibility vest/clothing
• All students will need a Unique Student Identifier (USI) to receive their certificates and or cards.
