(08) 8301 4500 or in person at 491 - 499 South Road, Regency Park South Australia to attend any of our courses.

Once you book onto a course you will be issued with a Tax Invoice for your training and you can pay via Cash, Visa or MasterCard, Cheque, Eftpos, Money Order or Direct Credit.
It’s a requirement that if you need to cancel from a public course or defer to a later course, you must contact the CITC within the time specified on your enrolment documents.
You may incur the full cost of the course if you don’t cancel in accordance with this requirement.
To cancel or defer from a course, you must telephone (08) 8301 4500 and speak to an Enrolments Officer.
If you have arranged a course specifically for your company and you need to cancel, you must contact the CITC office on (08) 8301 4500 and speak with our Scheduling/Office Manager within the time frame specified in your confirmation letter. Failure to do so will incur an administration fee.

The Construction Industry Training Centre (CITC) is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that offers training outcomes to participants and companies throughout South Australia.
The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) collects revenue from Building and Construction work undertaken in South Australia. This revenue provides the subsidies for applicable training to those people who have a current CITB ID Number.
This is a number issued by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) for residents of South Australia who are employed in the building and construction industry and are eligible to apply for a CITB number. If deemed eligible you may receive subsidies towards training relevant to the industry. Please see the CITB Subsidies page for further information.

You need to apply for a CITB ID Number via the Construction Industry Training Boards website at www.citb.org.au and follow the link on the homepage.
If approved, your CITB ID number will be available after 5 working days, and your CITB ID CARD in the mail in approximately 10 working days. This may be subject to change, please check the CITB website for further information.

No. Each individual participant must have their own CITB ID Number and it must be current on the day of training.
No. However for High Risk Work licenced outcomes such as Dogging, Rigging, Hoists, Cranes, Elevated Work Platform, Forklift and Order-Picking Forklift SafeWork SA requires that a student must be 18 or over to be assessed for the purpose of obtaining a licence.
Sound literacy skills are required to pass all CITC courses. A Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) form is completed by each student on the first day of training. Persons with English Language skill difficulties may bring an approved and accredited interpreter to White Card Courses.
For students to pass the Dogging course (and subsequent Rigging and Crane courses) a sound understanding of mathematics is highly recommended.

It is in your interest to submit the paperwork to SafeWork SA within the specified time to avoid any complications.
If you are deemed to be 'Not Yet Competent' then you will need to wait 7 days before you can resit another assessment. By law you cannot fail an assessment at one Registered Training Organisation (RTO) then be assessed for the same licence at another RTO the next week. There must be a minimum of 7 clear days (i.e. one week) between a fail and a re-assessment regardless of who reassess you.
An Elevated Work Platform = Boom lift over 11 metres (High Risk Work Licence from SafeWork SA issued for competent participants). Yellow Card = Boom or Scissor lift under 11 metres (Duty of Care training).

You will be issued with your Certificate of Attendance, Statement of Attainment or Qualification within 30 days of the course completion as long as you attended the entire course and or are assessed as Competent and the course has been paid for.
Yes, the CITC has a fully serviced canteen called the Eureka Cafe.
It is open 6:30am - 2:30pm (Monday to Friday).

From 1 January 2015 if you are undertaking nationally recognised training delivered by a registered training organisation you will need to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). This includes studying at TAFE or with a private training organisation, completing an apprenticeship or skill set, certificate or diploma course.
A USI gives you access to your online USI account which is made up of ten numbers and letters.

You will need a USI when you enrol or re-enrol in training from 1 January 2015 if you are a:
- Student enrolling in nationally recognised training for the first time, for example if you are studying at TAFE or with a private training organisation, completing an apprenticeship or skill set, certificate or diploma course;
- School student completing nationally recognised training; or
- Student continuing with nationally recognised training.
You are a continuing student if you are a student who has already started your course in a previous year (and not yet completed it) and will continue studying after 1 January 2015.

While you may create your own USI, training organisations are also able to create a USI for you. Training organisations should do this as part of the enrolment process when you begin studying. Where this service is provided, training organisations will let you know.
