Course Objective:
- To provide the participant with the skills and knowledge to conduct civil construction Skid Steer Loader operations for a range of mandatory tasks, the fitting, use and removal of attachments and operator maintenance activities.

- RIIMPO318F – Conduct Civil Construction Skid Steer Loader Operations
Course Content:
- Plan and prepare for skid steer loader operations
- Operate skid steer loader in line with established requirements
- Load, carry and place materials to complete work activity
- Select, remove and fit attachments for a skid steer loader
- Prepare to relocate the skid steer loader
- Conduct housekeeping activities
Assessment:
- Theory Assessment
- Practical Demonstration & Assessment
Course Award:
- Statement of Attainment
Course Prerequisites:
- Ability to use and understand basic English
- Ability to use and understand basic math
- Participants must provide identification and be 18 years of age or over to be assessed

- Personal Protective Equipment to be worn e.g. Safety footwear, high visibility vest/clothing
- All students will need a Unique Student Identifier (USI) to receive their certificates and or cards. About the CITB:
The CITB is a whole-of-industry led organisation that provides support to attract, train and retain South Australian building and construction workers by providing leadership in training and skills development.

Short Course Training:
The objective of CITB’s Short Course Training program is to raise the level of skill in the construction industry workforce by engaging Eligible Persons in training and skill development activities. CITB facilitates training opportunities and endeavours to ensure that CITB funded training meets both quality standards and industry requirements.
Each financial year, Eligible Persons with an approved CITB number can obtain up to $3,000 of training subsidies off any CITB endorsed short course, with a CITB endorsed training provider.
To obtain the short course subsidises, an approved CITB number must be provided to the training provider upon enrolment.
